I just spent four great days in Peoria, Illinois working with a favorite client of mine-RLI Insurance.
Here is a picture of my friend, Heather Accera who is the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and we have known each other ten years when I met her in her position at Knox College and I was a speaker.
I have now been going to RLI every year for the last five years and always love it and the people I work with.
Here is Heather with her wonderful family.
In the front, from the left is Alec who at eight years old was already named the winner in the Young Pianist Contest in Galesberg, Illinois. He also plays the drums and violin and he loves toys!
His brother Luke is almost twelve and also plays three instruments including the Cello, piano and organ and also studies composition! He is also quite the swimmer and runner.
Both Luke and Alec are members of the Young Marines and I must say that they are two of the nicest and most polite young men I have ever met!
Michael-father and husband who is smiling brightly has many talents--including the main fact that he has been home schooling the boys for years and they are excellent students! Michael is an excellent chef and practices with many different recipes for his family and is also a wonderful artist.
I know for a fact that both Heather and Michael are huge music enthusiasts which could be one reason that Luke and Alec are so involved and so successful!

This weekend after returning from a great trip to France, I was up at my favorite spa--the New Age Spa in Neversink, NY where I give a workshop on "Managing Your Time and Managing Your Stress".
This time was a particularly wonderful experience--with a bit of jet lag, I had time to relax, reflect and recharge. I took a long walk and stopped at the local post office to buy some stamps and the service in this small town post office was one of the best I have witnessed in a very long time. Jodi who was helping me clearly went the extra mile and put a real smile on my face.
It made me realize again the true importance of really giving great service in every job we do and to everyone we connect with. If we all did this--we would truly live in a much better world.
I wrote 10 notes while on my weekend excursion--and dropped them all in the post office of , N.Y.
